Production & Ordering

Every piece is lovingly handmade by me and ships from Oregon. Current production time is 1 to 2 weeks and does not including shipping time. 

When ordering a leotard, you'll input your 4 body measurements and specify your cup size and fit preference. These details will be included in your confirmation email but I recommend also creating a Louise Apparel account. This way your measurements are more readily available to glance at if you place another order in the future.


Shipping

& Payment

Accepted payment methods: VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and PayPal. Your payment method will be charged when your order is placed. An email notice, including a tracking number, will be sent when your order has shipped.

FLAT RATE $3 SHIPPING ON U.S. ORDERS. Packages are sent via USPS First Class Mail with a shipping time of 1-3 business days. 

FREE U.S. SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER $175. If your total is over $175, enter the promo code FREESHIPPING to receive the discount. Unfortunately, it does not automatically apply. Bummer Squarespace. 

All International orders are sent via USPS First Class International Mail with a typical shipping time of 10-14 business days. International shipping rates range between $14.25 - $23.50 USD, depending on the recipient country and size of the order. International customers are responsible for all taxes and tariff fees involved with overseas shipping. Tracking beyond the U.S is available to certain countries. Contact me to find out if your destination qualifies.

& Exchanges

I want nothing more than for you to love your purchase! If there's an issue with your order or something isn't fitting right, please send me a message HERE or email me at contact@louiseapparel.com within 10 days of receiving your package and I'll see what I can do.

EXCHANGES

All leotards are custom made and tailored to your measurements, so they cannot be returned. If there’s a fit issue, exchanges are possible within the same style and color of the original purchase; or if viable, a fit alteration can be made. Exchange on limited stock prints is subject to availability. 

Briefs and calf warmers may be exchanged for different sizes. Exchange on limited stock calf warmer fabrics is subject to availability. 

Exchange/alteration shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer.   

NO RETURNS. Refunds are possible if the item has a production defect (which should be photographed, if possible, and included in your email sent within 10 days of receiving your package) and is returned unworn/unwashed, in its original package with original tags attached. Please do not mail back items without prior approval. Only when the returned item passes inspection will the full refund be issued. If the item is unacceptable it will be mailed back at the customer's expense. 

Be sure to take care when trying on items and wear undies with intimates. Deodorant, lotions/oils can stain fabrics or leave behind scents. Dirtied, stained or strongly fragrant items cannot be exchanged/refunded.

*Hang on to the polymailer envelope your order arrives in. It's reusable as it has an extra adhesive strip. Use it if you need to mail back an item for exchange/alteration/refund, or for anything else you might be mailing!

 All packaging is recyclable and also made from recycled materials.  

REPAIRS

If your item needs a repair (a seam busts or there’s an issue with a strap) please reach out, as I’m more than happy to make fixes and extend the life of your purchase!


caring for your purchase

For a long, loving relationship with any of your Louise Apparel items machine wash COLD on a delicate setting. Or if you have the will and the time, hand washing is even better. HANG or LAY FLAT to dry.

Avoid the dryer, especially on high heat, no matter what! I know it can be tedious, but your items will maintain their elasticity and softness for many more years if they never see the inside of a dryer.
